The NC Department of Agriculture is currently accepting applications for seasonal peanut inspectors. Seasonal inspectors start as early as September with assignment lasting up to two months. Normal color vision, basic math and computer skills are required. Training will be provided. Returning and New Inspectors MUST attend a job fair to complete an application (NC PD-107) and employment paperwork. Each applicant MUST bring their Social Security Card and a state issued identification card or valid drivers license to the job fair. Your social security card and state identification card or drivers license are required by the NC Department of Agricultures payroll department in order to put you on payroll. The starting hourly rate is $10.34 per hour. The NCDA & CS is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and provides an alcohol and drug free workplace.
