Duties include:
Performing Industry research to identify potential opportunities to include taking surveys and collecting data on customer requirements and preferences and analyzing customer trends; conducting market research/surveys with potential customers to obtain information on customer's sales strategies, operational and production needs, goals and objectives; must be able to do phone sales, as well as face to face sales and have the talent to get past gatekeepers; collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support; understanding and preparation of supporting technical engineering documentation from the process industries; preparing reports based on results of research and surveys performed; communicating with key decision makers of potential customers, including plant operational personnel, engineers, senior management personnel and other professionals, as well as C suite level people in Fortune 500 companies; researching trade publications in conjunction with performance of industry research; facilitating and assisting in customer negotiations related to proposed acquisitions; attending sales meetings, trade conferences and seminars related to the chemical and petrochemical industries; conferring with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements; and preparation and deliverance of technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.
Require minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in chemical engineering.
