Human Resources (HR) Coordinator / Base Coordinator, Operations
We are looking for an efficient HR Coordinator to undertake a variety of HR and office administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities. The selected candidate will facilitate day-to-day HR functions, working collaboratively with the Director of Human Resources. Excellent time management skills are required, with great attention to detail, and the ability to take initiative with timely follow-through.
This unique position will also require cross-training with added responsibilities as needed.
HR Responsibilities:
- Assist with creating, observation and enforcement of Company Compliance and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Coordinate and Assist with Leaves of Absence
- MED; FMLA; LOA
- Knowledge of FMLA and Workers' Compensation is preferred
- Recruitment
- Maintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Assist with Interview and Selection Process
- On-boarding
- Orientation
- Liaison with external customers
- Assist with HR Database and Information Systems (HRIS)
- Assist with Pre-employment Requirements
- Pre-employment and Random Drug Testing Program
- Pre-employment Background Screening
- Drafting routine correspondence and document templates (e.g. forms, letters, checklists, spreadsheets, email, etc.)
- Coordinate and schedule meetings using Outlook 365 and Microsoft Outlook calendars
- Assist with HR Internal Investigations and Disciplinary Meetings
- Employee Relations
- Maintain Company Website, Social Media and Internal Newsletter
Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Assist employees with distribution and replacement of Company Issued Items and Training Materials as required
- Luggage; Uniform Pieces; Personal Computer Devices (PCD); Parking Passes, Company ID, and applicable training materials
- Answer incoming calls - shared responsibility
- Assist Management with administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous HR Experience
- Internal candidates must be active employee status with at least one (1) year of service
- Must be able to obtain SIDA badge credentials from the Houston Airports System (HAS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
