Contracts & Policy Officer

Summary:
This position is a professional level, exempt, full-time position reporting to the Deputy Director. The individual will manage, prepare, negotiate and review company contracts, partnerships, memorandum of agreement and memorandums of understanding, along with Indian Health Service personal services contracts. The position is also responsible for policy, to include: research, development, review, and advisement. Acts as a liaison with internal and external contacts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree minimum. A master is preferred.
- Four years’ professional level work experience as a contracts officer with policy management.
- Certifications in contracting a plus.
- Computer Skills to include word processing, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Work Hours:
Hours worked are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hour for lunch. This a full-time 37.5 hours per week and 1950 hours a year position. Chugachmiut maintains a non-smoking and drug & alcohol free work environment. There may be occasional travel to the villages of the region, must be willing and able to travel in light aircraft.
