Inhouse Insurance Agent and Customer Engagement Specialist
Careington's High Performance Sales Unit (H.P.S.U) will be a specialized team of driven Customer Engagement Specialists that will facilitate the sales experience for prospective and existing members. This unit will encompass both a retention team and an inbound sales team. The retention efforts consist of reaching out to former members and those existing members who are about to expire to retain and up sell them on additional Careington products. Inbound calls will be driven into this unit from multiple sales campaigns from existing clients, future clients and from Careington's internal marketing efforts as well. H.P.S.U is designed to be the telesales hub for Careington's business to the consumer market place.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- A Group 1 Life & Health Insurance License is Required
- Experience in selling Medicare supplement policies is a PLUS
- Efficiently handle a large quantity of inbound sales calls
- Identify opportunities to sell, up-sell and cross-sell Careington's products
- Ensure all phone calls are answered timely and that the caller's questions are addressed completely
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all Sales campaigns running through the H.P.S.U
- Handle both insured and non-insured sales calls
- Work with team to exceed sales goals set forth by management
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bilingual Hispanic/English is a Plus
- Phone Sales Experience
- Strong work ethic, Goal oriented & Competitive
- Exert a high level of energy, drive and enthusiasm and possesses a positive attitude while being a team player
- Must be a self-motivator with a desire to add value to the day to day operations of the department
- Commission Driven
- Flexibility in scheduling
- Must be able to accurately retain sales campaign knowledge and apply sales tactics that have been learned
- Must have the ability to work independently and with others when appropriate
- Impeccable communication skills - both written and verbal
- Must have professional phone demeanor and superb listening skills
- Must be extremely organized with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
- Ability to easily adapt to departmental changes
- Have a strong desire to meet the department's overall goals
Education, Experience & Software:
- Group 1 Life & Health Licensed Agent with the capability to be Medicare Sales Certified
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred but not required
- Interest and experience in both inbound and outbound sales calls
- Computer skills and experience with Microsoft Applications.
